THE CHILDREN'S PLACE
Where learning begins with love
Since 1992, The Children’s Place has been a happy, nurturing space for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years to learn, grow, and explore. As an extension of United Presbyterian Church of Albany, TCP prioritizes healthy child development and a love for learning through age-appropriate play. For over three decades, we have served hundreds of families, taking care of children from infancy to kindergarten preparation.

Our philosophy of learning is to recognize and encourage each child at the level they are at, delighting in each child's curiosity and imagination. Time is given for self-growth and activities are planned for specific developmental areas. Children are given the opportunity to share their individuality and grow compassion and appreciation for others. We focus on growth in socialization along with activities and classrooms that promote development in language, cognition, and motor skills.
TCP is open year-round, Monday through Friday, provide meals, offer age-appropriate classrooms, and an introduction to Spanish for our 3–5 year olds.
