On the Way to Emmaus

“On the Way to Emmaus” was given in 1917 in memory of Mr. William Fortmiller who became a member in 1881, an elder in 1886, and clerk of the session in 1905. Following the resurrection, “On that same day two of Jesus’ followers were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking to each other about all the things that had happened.
